The Exchangers' "Handover Note" - How do I know what to tell them?

Before you leave your own home, write a short welcome note for your swap family.

Ask your swap partners to do the same. These notes should be warm, and make brilliant "day one" content — the visual equivalent of a welcome home swapper handshake.

That's the thing mutual home exchange does well: it hands you an opportunity of a new different life.

A home exchange drops you inside a new neighbourhood. You will buy bread from the same bakery the family bought from. You will learn which bus is always late. You will become a resident there where the other exchanger has already lived.
