More details

I have a one-bedroom maisonette in Leicester with a shared back garden. Although the garden is shared with the upstairs neighbour, she has never used it during the time I've lived here, so it has generally been quiet.

The property has central heating and double glazing. The area is fairly quiet, although the main road nearby can get busy during rush hour. The city centre is approximately a 20-minute walk away, and local amenities are accessible.

Local crime

Like every neighbourhood, this area has police incidents logged each month: 891 within about a mile in August 2026, most of them minor. A one-mile circle around a busy street or station always records far more than the quiet roads inside it. Source: data.police.uk (Open Government Licence; locations are approximate).
