The Wraysbury River path leads out to Staines Moor, which feels surprisingly wild for somewhere this close to Heathrow, and the Papa India Memorial and the Lammas Park bandstand are quiet spots worth knowing. Between the two shopping centres and the retail park, a rainy Saturday is easily filled without leaving town.
