What it's like to live in Clevedon

For a town this size, there is more going on than you might expect. Curzon Cinema & Arts is a short walk from the centre and gives you films and events without a trip into a city.

Green space is easy to come by. Sunhill Park and Herbert Gardens are both around 0.3 miles from the centre, with Alexandra Gardens and Coleridge Field about half a mile, and Pier Copse a little further. That is five decent spots within walking distance, which is handy with children or a dog.

If you like getting active, there are several small independent gyms nearby, including Clevedon Fitness, FitZone and a CrossFit gym. For evenings out, the Bristol Inn, Waggon & Horses, The Riff Corner and Teatro Lounge are all clustered close to the centre.

Employment in the wider North Somerset area is steady. Around 57.5% of adults are in work, close to the England figure of 57.4%, but unemployment is lower at 2.2% against 3.5% nationally.
